Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Nevertheless, we often live as if He had said, “and I will give you another job to do before 3:00 p.m. tomorrow.” Is there a place for rest in the life of a 20th century Christian? Should there be? Read Psalm 23.
